Lord Macallan and Princess Angelina of Earleton (or Big Mac and Little Angel)

Tali was with us for just a few months, but she and Mac were rarely separated the whole time. Her loss is a very sad thing for Mac, Spyke, and me.

Tali's Memorial

Our latest addition is Angelina, a mixed breed puppy we picked up at the Bradford County Animal Rescue Shelter (the day before she was scheduled for euthanization). She was shy and skinny at first, but she is quickly adapting to her new home. At 3 months old, she is already crate trained and nearly fully housebroken. She has started to put on some weight, and was 22 lbs at her last visit to the Vet. Angie's enthusiastic play has helped Mac recover from losing Tali, and helped us, too. We hope she sticks around for a long time.

Angelina Ballerina

The Vet thinks that Angie has some Black Mouth Cur in her ancestry, and if you see photos of the purebreds, you'll agree. We want to do a Dog Breed ID test on both Mac and Angie to settle some of those questions - cost is down to $50 each now, which is reasonable.

Princess Angie on her throne. Little Angel Angie is not a very good photo model yet. She is far more curious about the world than about standing still for a cute photo. Big Mac and Little Angel

Big Brother loves to play with his new Little Sister. Be sure to catch the videos of them at play (below).

Mac is my buddy. Tali was a perfect playmate for Mac. Her sudden death was pretty tragic for him, but Angie is helping to heal his wounded heart.

At almost 75 pounds, Mac has exceeded our original estimate of 45 pounds by almost that much. Check out Mac's Forum for updates and sharing your pet's antics and photos.

Mac looks a little sheepish in this photo, but that's because it caught him in a split second before he bolted with his prize.

Couch Spud

After playing hard all evening, Mac is very content sleeping on our couch while we watch TV.

So many of these photos show Mac napping for a couple reasons: 1) as a puppy, he does a lot of napping; 2) it's the only time he'll stay still long enough for me to get a focused photo.
