Mostly these are designed for adults, but we do have family-oriented stuff, too, where children are encouraged to attend. (We need more children to make us feel superior.)

Halloween Happy Hour at Cook's Corner - 6:00p, Friday, October 27, 2023
Let's do this! Get your creative cap on and come in costume or in your usual disheveled attire for some festive cocktails at Happy Hour in Chris Cook's home in Gainesville.
The only thing requested is a fun snack and hard liquor (I provide mixers, beer and some foundation munchies). Oh, and you must have fun. See you soon.

For the Dec 1 HH, I will host a Baked Potato Party. I'll provide the potatoes, butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and chives from my garden. What do you like on your potato? Please bring your favorite spud topping.
Also, I'm collecting Toys for Tots. They need to be unwrapped and no weapons, please.

Our annual holiday open house event at Bo and Spyke's home Habitat from Insanity on Lake Elizabeth in Earleton. Stop by to say Hi or to share your new toys. We'll be serving food and drinks starting at 1:00 pm. Children, well-behaved pets, visiting relatives, or friends are most welcome.

Unwanted Gift Exchange & Ugly Sweater Fashion Show - 2:00p, Sunday, January 7, 2024
Gather at the Homany home wearing your ugly sweater and bring an unwanted gift or anything worth $10. Chinese game where one can choose a new wrapped gift or take someone else's unwrapped gift. Food and mixers (BYOB). If it's a nice day, we'll have a campfire. Gift exchange starts at 3:30p. Sweater contest winner is by majority rule.
